Yonatan Mary cooks the way one tells a story.
He brings the warmth of a Moroccan grandmother, the precision of a rising star chef, and a burning passion for cuisine that awakens the senses.
Trained under some of the most renowned chefs in Israel (Chef Orel Kimhi, Chef Aharoni, Chef Yahaloma Levi), he also worked with Chef Elon Amir of the iconic Tel Aviv restaurant HaBasta, a true culinary institution, where he honed his technique, sharpened his instincts, and shaped his unique culinary vision.
But it’s in his Moroccan and Iraqi roots that the soul of his cuisine truly lies where generous, vibrant, colorful, and intensely flavorful.
Today, he brings his craft to GUEFEN, our gastronomic restaurant where tradition and creativity meet in an elegant setting.
